You don’t have to give up your truck bed to keep your cargo covered. The TruXedo Lo Pro rolls up in seconds and self-stores neatly behind the cab using built-in straps, so you get full access when you need it. The cover opens and closes in about 20 seconds and stays low enough that it won’t block your rear window. Because it mounts inside the bed rails, your stake pockets remain free for racks or other accessories.

Temperature changes can cause some covers to sag or loosen, but not this one. The Lo Pro uses a spring-loaded, automatic tension control that constantly adjusts to keep the industrial-strength, leather-grain vinyl fabric tight and wrinkle-free in any weather. The floating hook Velcro slides along the rails to reduce wear, making the seal last longer and the cover easier to operate.

Rain and dust stay out thanks to rubber weather seals around the entire perimeter, including the corners. The cover locks securely at the tailgate with a simple trigger latch, and when the tailgate is locked, the bed stays secure. That makes it a solid choice for keeping gear dry and out of sight in any season.

Getting the cover on is simple. The quick-attach clamps secure to the inside of the bed rails—three per side—so the rails go on straight without drilling. With the snap-in header guide and preassembled components, the whole install takes about 20 minutes using only a socket and ratchet. You can be ready to roll in less time than it takes to wash the truck.

The Lo Pro sits less than 1" above the bed rails for a clean, flush look that blends with the truck’s lines. The streamlined shape cuts down on tailgate drag, improving aerodynamics and helping to increase gas mileage by up to 10 percent. It’s a simple way to keep your truck looking sharp and performing efficiently every day.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Truxedo Lo Pro QT Soft Roll-up Tonneau Cover. It's available to fit your specific truck, see etrailer.com. This Truxedo tonneau cover is a great way to protect your truck bed and anything inside of it. It's a soft leather grain vinyl that conveniently rolls up for full truck bed access. When using the included attached straps you can even drive with it open. One great feature is, unlike folding tonneau covers, you don't have to worry about the roll-up design obstructing your rear view with the tonneau cover open. When comparing this to a tonneau cover that rolls up within a canister, with this style we don't have to worry about the canister taking up space inside of our truck bed.
With it rolled up you can see how the tonneau rails are mounted. They're a simple clamp on design. Four clamps per side and they mount to the inside of our truck bed rails. That way we still have access to our stake pockets for stake pocket accessories. They only sit about three inches inside of our truck bed and about an inch above our truck bed. Here you can see the integrated tension control.
Both rails have them. This is going to allow you to adjust the tension in our tonneau cover that way it remains tight over time. The tonneau roll itself, has built in bows. This is a step up compared to some tonneau covers. Not only is it going to help it remain tight over time, it's going to prevent water from pooling on top.The automatic latch secures the tonneau cover.
It's also easy to operate when we want to open it. Simply pull it towards you. When used with a locking tailgate, your bed is secure. The large hook and loop fasteners on each side of the tonneau cover, are going to help keep it tight and help keep the elements out. All in all this tonneau cover's going to be a great option for your truck bed.
It's going to add a sleek and stylish look. It installs like most tonneau covers, with a clamp on design. There's no drilling or cutting required. One of our customers, Glenn says, "A year later, my cover is still practically new looking. I've had zero issues with wear, stretching, velcro separation. Instillation was very easy, by myself and was a perfect fit. Money well spent." One of our other customers, John A. says, "Great product, I'm very satisfied with the tonneau cover. Cleans up easily, rolls up very easy and fastens down really good. I will purchase another one if and when the time comes. Feel confident making this purchase, I know you will be satisfied."Compared to the Access Loredo roll-up soft tonneau cover, there are only two real differences. The Truxedo uses more clamps so it may be more difficult to install. The Access Loredo uses a draw string design that operates a latch on each side for opening. While the Truxedo has a latch just on the driver's side. They're both a roll up to the cab design that strap in place so we can drive with them open and that's going to complete our look. Ratings & Reviews
OK - this tonneau cover seems to fit perfectly. I installed about a week ago on a 2022 Ram 1500 Limited with the Ram Boxes AND the split tailgate. Here are some notes of which you should be aware:
1) Watch the eTrailer installation video for installation before you start.
2) Listen to the installation video.
3) The manufacturer's instruction sheet is inaccurate for installing on a Ram Box. The socket / wrench size you need are incorrect. YOU NEED AN 11mm socket and wrench - I'm not sure why they choose 11mm, over the standard 10 or 12 - but what ever.
4) You do not need to remove your tiedown points from the track to install the cover, and if you remove them, it is a pain in the butt to reinstall them once the cover is installed ,because the release handle limits access...so be aware of that.
5) There will be some foam pieces in the kit that are not used - two blocks and a strip. Don't worry about where they go - because they are not used with the Ram Box installation.
6) Watch the eTrailer DIY installation video again
7) You will need assistance to pull the rail tight, go get a good seal. You only need that extra person for about 5 minutes, but you will need help to get the best seal.
That's about it. It took me about 30 minutes and watched the video about 4 times, since the paper instructions don't really apply to the RamBox installation.
Oh, and I have the split tailgate, and find the rear seal over top of the tailgate works best, and still allows access to the swing door, but you need to left the seal a bit when closing the swing tailgate.
I think that's it. Have fun. Great product.
A year later, my cover is still practically new looking. I've had zero issues with wear, stretching, or velcro separation. Installation was very easy, by myself and was a perfect fit. Money well spent!
Read the instructions a couple times before installing. Easy peasy, and it looks great.
I replaced a back flip tri fold hard cover with this I pull a 5th wheel with a short box and a turning point pin box. Each time I hooked up the 5er, I had to remove the back flip cover. Pain in the ear. With the soft roll up I can just roll the cover to open and still have full turn radius.
Easy to install, easy to use, and looks great.
The product looks great. Just like my old one that lasted 20 years. The item is in good condition despite the rough handling by UPS. End of box was open and driver just threw it on the ground just inside the fence next to road. Must not have been the regular driver. Last one was delivered to front porch in good condition
The cover took longer than expected top be delivered, but once it got here, it was an easy installation. The only glitch was that the instructions could have been better illustrated in regards to the placement of the foam trim for the main cross bar that rests on top of the front bed wall.
I’ve had a low pro previously on my truck for 8 years which I think was a better build than this version that I received on 3/29/24 this version the end caps on the rails are a foam insert. The older version had a rubber insert only time will tell how long these peal and stick glued foam pieces will last. Also some of the foam peace’s came glued together which was of no use.
Cover was great, prompt shipping and great communication
The installation was easy. I love the release system on it as well as the tensioner. After a year it is still holding up well to the elements and looking good. Being made in the USA is a plus!
Got it installed by myself. Took s little longer to get everything adjusted but it fits perfectly.
I have ordered from Etrailer several times over the last few years and I have always received excellent product and service. This last order that I received was a replacement of a wrong order that I made. Etrailer made it pretty easy to rectify my mistake and get me the right tonneau cover.
Excited for this but the threading seems to be coming apart. I am not sure it will hold. But it is on and the Velcro holds good. When I bought my last one 12 years ago it seemed like it was built to last. I hope this one last as long. Price was great.
Not my first Truxedo. Every truck I have gets one.
Very durable. Holds up well in MN winters. Adjustability is there. I work in construction now, and I've had some of these take some pretty good hits, but have never failed.
Used to work for a dealership as the Accessories manager, and I got to see them all. Truxedo was all I ever recommended, and why I personally have them
They did everything they could to get the product to me and ended up shipping it from the manufacture, great quality not to bad to install, only issue was the cover was rolled backwards on the front rail which made it a little confusing at first trying to install, but it was pretty easy to figure out.
Great product quality and exactly as described. Shipping was fast, and the measurements were accurate. Customer service was also very helpful. Overall, a great experience.
This fits my generation 1 Honda Ridgeline perfectly! For the money, I give it five stars because it functions very nicely and keeps most of the water out, lol. Adds to security and storage so people don't walk along and just grab something out of the back of my truck. Thanks again for your help finding the right part
This cover stays nice and tight with heavy duty Velcro
It seems to be keeping its color and condition well
Seems fairly secure considering it’s just a soft cover
It fits the situation we have with our new 5th wheel which has a Curt pin box with the shock and spring on it. Rolls up nice and looks great when it's closed.
Just installed the cover yesterday. Looks great. Installation went very well. Heavy rain last night and the truck bed was dry. The bed storage door does open, but not completely since it hits the bed cover rails. It opens enough to get most items in - everything that I need. I would recommend this cover.
Great cover. It is the perfect height above the bed rails to allow my Craftsman storage box to slide into the bed.
Looks great! Easy installation too. I also like how the cover stows when rolled up to the front of the truck bed. The small sized roll doesn't block my view when hooking up my 5th wheel trailer. Overall, I've been very happy with this cover.
Looks good. The rubber seal at the tailgate on the passenger side is loose and floppy but looks OK cosmetically. Was fairly easy to install. It helped to watch online utube videos. If it holds up over time and stays as nice it is I would rate it 5 stars but it's too early to tell.
Great product very durable still looks new
